RECHENZENTRUM
Abends, spät in der Zukunft/Country Finalis
7" single in a limited edition of only 100 numbered copies.
Deleted 6. 12. 2002, sorry!

"Here, they build things around a loop-like rhythm that sounds like it was clipped from a Kraftwerk LP and left to find itself in the Black Forest. What sits on top of this, is a rope-like line of nicely subliminal lifts from other genres: gentle rock guitar plucks on one side, a bunch of French guys trying to tap their way out of a submarine on the other."
(The Wire, August 2002)

Berlin-based Rechenzentrum are best known for their self-titled debut album on Kitty-Yo Records on which they sound like Muslimgauze meeting Autechre and the excellent minimal John Peel Session.
