Out mammoth project, the Neonbeats compilation, has been released, a grand party was thrown, reviews and reactions have been sensational. Thanks again to all participants! The Caroline K CD is nearly sold out, Konrad Becker's double CD of acoustic compositions has been put out - an ideal companion to his electronic works as Monoton. The first projects for the upcoming summer season are "Satanic Sanction"; Sleep Chamber's classic ritualistic album for the first time ever on CD; the debut album by German composer Achim Wollscheid's early project Swimming Behavior of the Human Infant, and hopefully finally the long delayed "Maximum Punishment Solutions" by Thorofon. New projects will include some follow-up releases to Neonbeats: there will be a compilation of the music of Modell D'oo, the complete works by Rassemenschen/Sternenstaub and the debut album by Austrian synth pop outfit Collapsing New People. If you're in or near Vienna on August 5, why not come to the "Neonbeats Bonus Tracks" party at Fluc where we will be showing video art by bands from Neonbeats. Expect some rarely seen material and guest DJs spinning Austrian Post Punk and New Wave.

Welcome to a new year for Klanggalerie!
Our first release has already been put out - Caroline K's ambient masterpiece "Now wait for last year", complete with three previously unreleased tracks. Out next is "Black December" by Konstruktivits; in our humble opinion one of the true lost classics. It isn't as dark as "Psykho Genetika" and not as new wave-y as "Glennascaul", but instead it is one of the strangest pieces of music ever recorded. If you don't know if yet, try it out, if you know what it's like, grab it! In April we will celebrate the release of our mammoth project "Neonbeats"; a compilation of Austrian New Wave and Post Punk from 1977 until today. This double CD edition will feature 37 tracks by 37 artists, none of them ever available on CD before, many believed lost or simply unheard of before. On April 24th, a big release party will be held at Vienna's Replugged club with many of the bands featured playing short live sets, for example Chuzpe, Passepartout, Collapsing New People, Graf & Zyx, Ronnie Urini etc. A week later, we will present Monoton's Konrad Becker's double CD "Grand Piano Classics" at the Künstlerhaus. So two major events for us within a week - if you're in or near Vienna, dont miss these shows, they will definitely be worth coming.

Our Non Toxique Lost CD of the Scheer concert (Z.O.R.N.) is now sold out. Thanks to everybody who ordered it. Out now is the legendary NKVD Compilation tape by Konstruktivists, as a professionally printed CD-R, in an extremely limited edition of only 50 copies. Also, the first ever digital release by Nigel Ayers first band The Pump. Together with brother Danny and Caroline K, The Pump were a blueprint for what was later to become The Nocturnal Emissions. Our last release for 2009 will be "Dry Hip Rotation", the super strange album recorded by Box singer Peter Hope together with The Jonathan S. Podmore method. This will be ready for Christmas so dont panic, your presents have just been sorted out ;-)
Thanks for all your support this year and we look forward to the next one!
