Happy New Years from the Klangers! We start 2012 with a free download live album by Gottfried Distl & Andrea Dee - check out details here. If you like what you hear, have a look also at our "Collected Works" album by the Austria art pop duo. Also just released on CD is the debut album by British author and musician Raymond Russell entitled "Ghosts". Dreamlike music in 4AD style with vocals by Lidwine whose singing might remind you of Björk. Plans for the first half of the year include the new album by Naevus, a Mushroom's Patience live CDR, the comeback of pop duo Play The Tracks Of, the debut album of Austrian synth pop band Collapsing New People and the collected works by Zero Kama offshoot Korpses Katatonik, originally released on the band's own Nekrophile Records label. Concerts planned so far are the presentation of the Ghosts CD by R.B. Russell on March 23rd at Xi Bar, Vienna, and Andy Oppenheimer (of Oppenheimer Analysis) on April 13th at Rhiz, Vienna.

Thank you all for your support in 2011. We hope you have downloaded our free Christmas compilation. If not, it will stay available until the end of this year. We are sorry to say that the "Cultural Amnesia" CD is now out of print. Stock on "Graf & Zyx" is getting low, too. The new year will bring lots of exciting new releases, for example the brand new album by French avantgarde supergroup DDAA. Also, there will be limited live recordings of the gigs by Mushroom's Patience and Rassemenschen helfen armen Menschen. The debut album by Austrian synth pop band "Collapsing New People" will come out around summer, and we will also have our first CD and book package by British author and musician Ray Russell. Gigs planned are a solo show by Andy Oppenheimer in Vienna, Non Toxique Lost, and of course we are also working together closely with our friends at the Wroclaw Industrial Festival in Poland. A merry Christmas from us at Klanggalerie and all the best for 2012.

After taking it a little easier the last few months, we are now back to full form. Our next release will be Peter Hope's CD "Hoodoo Dance". A kind of follow-up to his collaboration "Hoodoo Talk" with Richard H. Kirk, this new collection brings together many of Pete's excellent projects over the last two decades. Check the Hoodoo Dance page for detailed info. After this, we plan two live albums... a rarity in our catalogue, but these performances have been so great that we decided to release them as individual albums: first, Konstruktivists played one of their best ever show at Vienna's XI bar in June 2011. Tracks include: "Free Form Fetish", "Konfrontation", "In Kabul", "Tic Tac Toe" and "Heartbeat". In July, we had Mushroom's Patience over for a gig at the Rhiz, performing songs from all stages of the band's career. These two will both be out in September. Also, there will be three follow-up CDs to our Neonbeats project: retrospectives by Modell D'oo and Rassemenschen helfen armen Menschen, as well as an archive album by Austrian proto electro project "Monoton". Plans for later in the year are more Konstruktivists re-issues, a new edition of the complete Korpses Katatonik material, and the long-delayed David Harrow re-release.
